How Do You Keep Track of Your Customers?

The first question I'd like to ask is Do You Keep Track of Your Customers? And if you do, what type of system do you use?

If you are using a spreadsheet to help you keep track of your customers, I'd like to introduce you to the CRM Software System.

A CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Software System is a system or tool for managing a company’s interactions with current and future customers.  A CRM Software system can be a powerful tool for growing a company’s profits and increasing its value.

I've been using it using it for my businesses for quite some time and I love it. It makes managing my prospects, potential customers and customers so much easier.  The CRM Software System is a much needed tool for any business small or large.

I usually describe it to my new staff who has never used the system before as Microsoft Office Access program which is a database management program.

I'd like to share with you a few of the basic benefits a CRM Software System can help grow your business:

Automate Tasks
CRM Software system can automate tasks such as keeping track of sales appointments, follow up reminders, can create email templates for marketing messages and keep all the activity and history of each person.

Share Activities with Your Entire Team
Allows you to use it with your staff and sales team, so that everyone is on the same page.

Measure Productivity
CRM Software System can help you understand who has bought what, how much they spent, and help inform demand for future product or market expansion.

Integrate Your Customer Communication Systems
Give you the ability to integrate your email account and social media accounts, such as LinkedIn – you can include their LinkedIn profile within the CRM Software system profiles.

Now I know you're asking, where can I find this CRM Software program?

A CRM Software system is a cloud based application found on the internet.  There are several types of CRM Software programs you find for free or an affordable monthly subscription.

Here are a couple of popular ones to check out:

Salesforce offers sales, marketing and service management capabilities to its small and (very) large customers.  Allows you to test drive the product with a free trial and can range in price from $5 and up.

ZohoCRM includes productivity, office, project management, invoicing and recruiting.  It’s free for the basic version, the Enterprise version cost $35/month, and it allows you to add on applications for additional fees.

If you are using a CRM Software System, which one are you using and feel free to share your thoughts.
